Our client, an established group in the renewables industry, is investing heavily in their supply chain functions as a priority. The team is an Independent Power Producer across the US and seeking a skilled leader interested in supporting the buildout of a sustainable supply chain.
The Inventory Planner will be responsible for:
- Manage inventory to fulfill customer orders for more complex products or shipping locations while using optimum transportation modes to ensure on-time shipping and lead time, focusing on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage products in-transit, third party inventory storage, and exchange agreements (where applicable).
- Act as the main point of contact and work independently to coordinate inbound and outbound movements of products from assigned shipping location(s) and / or product line(s). Product movements may be in bulk via truck, rail, barge, vessel, export container, or pipeline depending on the business supported.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
- 2+ Years' experience in supply chain management
- BSBA in Supply Chain Management or similar specialty
- Prior experience in the oil & gas industry
