Project Developer - Utility Scale
Our Client, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking an Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with environmental policies, regulations, and permits through all stages of wind, solar, and BESS project development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist development team in obtaining local, state, and federal permitting for renewable projects and ensure compliance throughout all teams during development and construction
- Support engineering and development teams to identify risks and risk mitigation strategies as well as entering data within EHS systems
- Identify wildlife and other environmental constraints on site locations for projects and review waste streams as well
- Coordinate with other teams to create internal reports on development projects, Tier II reports annually, and conduct internal training on procedures (environmental)
- Other duties assigned as an Environmental Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Land Management, Energy, or other related degree
- 5+ Years of experience in permitting, environmental, regulatory, or environmental law with a proven record of permitting for large infrastructure and team work
- Experience with the following: Endangered Species, Golden Eagle Protection, Wetlands, Storm Water Pollution, Spill Preventaion, National Historic Preservation Act, Phase I ESA, and Non-hazardous Waste, and other United States laws and regulations
Preferred:
- Candidates with renewable energy or power experience
